Window frames and doors are again fir, sometimes laminated, all windows and doors are double glazed as a basic standard, and low emission glass can be specified as an upgrade.

All timber is kiln dried before machining, to the relevant level of moisture content for our climate, ensuring that the building settles in gradually as it dries out over time.

Our installation process includes all weather facing components being Water Repellent treated, this process provides the first stage of the buildings life long maintenance regime to be carried out by our customer.

We manufacture a suitable base chassis for new buildings using pressure treated timbers and adjustable galvanised steel piles positioned at load  bearing points. This system causes minimal environmental impact, no waste, or need for messy concrete.

The building sits on the base on a pressure treated sole plate to keep damp away also allowing air circulation and vapour to evaporate, the floor sits on pressure treated bearers.

High quality door and window furniture and mechanisms are used with insurance grade locks fitted.
